Our hair is like the bridge or gateway to our heads. Since lice is spread from hair to hair contact, long hair can be more susceptible to getting lice - ESPECIALLY if it’s down! Your head doesn’t even need to touch someone else’s that has lice. (Remember - lice do NOT jump) Your hair can touch even standing next to someone if it’s down!

This is why despite treating people with active head lice daily, I don’t worry about getting lice from clients! My hair is ALWAYS up!!

Only thing we suggest cleaning are the sheets (and pillowcases) of anyone positive for head lice! Just wash & put in the dryer and you’re good to go!

❄️ Combs & brushes -> put in a ziplock in your freezer for 2-3 hours
