When I brought in my new assistant I knew this would be helpful for her👇🏼

It was my Booked & Busy Blueprint.

Because before you master the technical skills, you need to understand how to build a sustainable clientele.

The beauty industry is full of talented stylists. Talent alone isn’t what fills your books.

Learning how to build relationships, create a client experience people talk about, market yourself consistently, and show up with confidence is what creates long-term success.

I want my assistant to have the tools I wish someone would have handed me when I was first starting out. Instead of taking every single client and feeling like a failure. The goal is for her to build a clientele while assisting me part time.

The technical skills take practice, that will come with time & additional education.

Learning how to create a business that supports the life you want? That’s the real game changer.

If you’re a stylist, what’s one thing you wish someone had taught you sooner?

If you’ve ever wondered how I juggle running a business, raising two kids, and keeping my life somewhat together... it’s definitely not because I have it all figured out. 😂

A few simple habits make my week feel a whole lot less chaotic:

✨ Make my bed every morning, it takes less than 3 minutes.
✨ Prep my lunch the night before, yes even pb&j. Trust me.
✨ Clean the kitchen before bed. No dishes piled up.
✨ Use ChatGPT to create my weekly meal plan + grocery list, then create a pickup order or delivery. Covid did one good thing so utilize it. I had a stocked fridge before nap time and didn’t leave the house.

None of these things are groundbreaking, but they help me start each day feeling a little more prepared and a lot less overwhelmed.

The older I get, the more I realize success isn’t about doing more it’s about creating systems that make life easier.

What’s one thing you do every week that helps keep the chaos under control? 👇
