Saturday was a somber day for us at the shop in Champaign. Chaz has been an integral part of our team for nearly five years, joining us in the early days of Leland's. Day in and day out, he worked alongside us, sharing life stories and enduring Zach's questionable jokes. Chaz's exceptional talent and keen eye for detail attracted new customers to his chair, but it was his engaging conversations that kept them coming back for more.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for his invaluable contributions during his time at Leland's. He’s played a significant role in shaping our shop into what it is today. As he embarks on a new chapter at in Alton, Illinois, we wholeheartedly wish him the best. If you’re ever in the Alton area, we encourage you to stop by and see Chaz, and the Anderson’s crew. We have no doubt that he will continue to thrive and make a positive impact in his new environment.

Huge shoutout to for restoring another absolutely beautiful set of chairs for our new shop. These Theo Kochs chairs were manufactured in Chicago, about 100 years ago. We’re “pumped” to have them back in service, back in Illinois.
