Fluid (25cc) out after a post op session.
Drainage after liposuction:
This fluid is called “tumescent”, a very dilute solution of local anesthesia (lidocaine and epinephrine). This solution is injected into the fat beneath the skin.
While a significant amount of this fluid is removed during the suction portion of the procedure, some is left behind. This fluid (tumescent +slight amount of blood) is what may leak from your incisions after liposuction.
