Massage breaks up stubborn knots and trigger points, releasing trapped waste (like lactic acid) into your bloodstream so your body can eliminate it. Our bodies were designed to heal from the inside out.
Deep tissue massage, stretches, and manipulating stiff muscle fibers are all very good for your body. After your massage, your body triggers a natural inflammatory healing response. With that, you may experience some pain, but it will not be there for long. If you are new to massage, yes, there may be some  soreness after your session, but that means the massage is working. Muscles that have never been manipulated will try and tense up while being worked on. Not everyone will feel sore after a session, some are absolutely fine, where as others do feel tender in some area’s . Everyone’s body will react differently.

Are You having numbness or tingling in either of your arms? If so, these nerve glide stretches are for YOU.
What on earth is Nerve Gliding you may ask ?
Nerve Gliding exercises are also known as nerve flossing or neural mobilization. It is a gentle, therapeutic movement technique that helps a compressed or inflamed nerve slide smoothly through its natural pathways. It relieves pain, numbness, and tingling by reducing tension and increasing blood flow to the nerve.
This can help tremendously. Very simple to do, and you can follow along with the lady in the video anytime you do them. There is just one thing to keep in mind. Don’t over due it. These stretches are super simple. The moves may look easy, but over stretching is a REAL thing, and it will worsen your condition if you go overboard.
Sets and Reps. You can do anywhere from 5-15 reps in one set. Maximum sets per day, 1-3. Do not do over 15 reps or 3 sets a day. Over working your nerve can cause more damage. Don’t focus too much on how many you can do in a row, more so focus on being consistent with it daily. If you can only do 7 reps for the first week, that’s totally fine. The key is repetition.
The best news of all, you can do all of these in the comfort of your own home, you can remain seated, and still will be able to watch your favorite shows, all while getting that nerve function back.
