I don’t normally post things happening with my family on my professional page however, I’ve have had several colleagues ask about todds journey with Iron Man, knowing that he was working towards achieving legacy to compete at the Kona World Championship, .

Todd’s 12th Ironman update

Back in September, Todd tore his PCL — something that felt so frustrating at the time because it forced him out of Ironman training. But now, looking back, we are so thankful it happened. That injury led to an appointment at Mayo Clinic with new tests that revealed a much bigger issue — an ascending aortic root aneurysm much larger than previously revealed and now needs to be repaired through open heart surgery on November 3rd.

What felt like a setback may have truly been God’s protection. 💙

While Todd’s Ironman dream is suspended indefinitely, and our pumpkin party won’t be happening this year, our hearts are focused where they need to be — on his health, healing, and peace in the weeks ahead.

We’re trusting that this pause is part of a much bigger story — one that leads to full recovery, renewed strength, and maybe next year… even more pumpkins than ever. 🎃❤️

Please keep Todd in your prayers — for calm, for courage, and for a smooth, successful surgery and speedy recovery. We’re holding on to faith, gratitude, and the incredible love and support from all of you.
