Be kind, I'm being vulnerable today.
I have dermatillomania and I'm finally ready to talk about it.

We all have our quirks, right? Little things we do that we're embarrassed about or that others would call us weird for?

Ready for mine?

I pick the skin around my nails. And I've been doing it since I was around 6 years old.

I'm not proud of it. I'm extremely embarrassed and I know it's gross. But it's been my coping mechanism for anxiety and boredom for nearly my entire life.

And I'm talking all about it in this week's episode.

Why?

Because while most people don't pick, a lot of women do have their own methods of handling anxiety or might have a compulsion of their own. So I'm sharing mine to shred light on it for those that can't relate and opening the doors to chat more about it for those that do.

By now you’ll have dialed in your workout habit so you don’t have to think or stress about when to get your workouts done.

We’ll continue to learn and push intensity… but focusing on consistency.

And now is the time to accelerate results with Done For You meal planning.

I’ll help design a meal plan where each week you get 12 recipes to focus on.

I’ll teach you how to handle temptation and make eating healthy a lot easier.

☑️ Chapter 4 - (Weeks 9 thru 12) - The Transformation

This is the home stretch… but we can’t let up yet.

When it comes to workouts… I’ll have some fun new skills for you to play with…

Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to learn the hard way.

My body would have appreciated it. But at least I finally learned and that journey allowed me to have more appreciate and love for my body than I could have imagined.

I wish most women didn't have to go through this experience but I think most of us have in some capacity. We've tested our bodies... hated them even... and yet they kept going the best they could despite all that.

When I started the FWW Podcast, it was like having a coffee date with a girlfriend. I'd share fitness tips of course but also share personal life updates and talk as if we were old friends.

It's easy to get caught up in all the “what ifs” when thinking about starting a new fitness program.

What if I'm too out of shape?
What if I'm too busy?
What if I fail?
What if I don't see results?

These are the questions I get from ladies hesitant to join Summer Shred (the App opens Sunday and there are only 24 hours left to join!)

Here's what I say in response...

If you feel too out of shape or stuck in a plateau...

How do you plan to get in shape? Break that plateau? You can't continue doing what you're doing and expect results to just happen.

Take a deep breath and do something new to take your fitness to a new level. Doing a new program and training your body in new ways is the ultimate way for it to go, "WOW, I gotta get stronger and fitter to maintain this!".

Boom... no more plateau.

That can be Shred.

If you feel like life is too busy...

This is the #1 concern because life is busy for everyone! But guess what? It's never going to slow down or be the "right time" to do anything new.

What I can do is give you is a program that allows your fitness routine to fit your chaos.

And on the days you can't do 30 minutes? Do the fit quickie for that day. You can do something... and that keeps the ball rolling!
