Fresh soap….a gentle cleansing bar. It’s made with apple cider vinegar, Greek yogurt, pink kaolin clay, and Shea butter as the main ingredients. Scented with blended essential oils: lavender, geranium, clary sage, and lemon.

Greasy Joan was the kitchen maid that skimmed the fat off the surface of the cooking pot as it cooked. She then would store this to be used for soap and candle making. Usually this proofed was done by women.

Bees wax candle. There are benefits to burning bees wax candle. It’s slowing burning, it cleans the air, it’s a better alternative than soy, tallow, and paraffin… We can talk more about bees wax later but get into it!!!!! 😊

Tallow candle… these are steps I took to make a candle using tallow. This type of candle was used during the early times…artificial light…tallow candle.

My apologies… I failed to realize that today I took the kids to a corn maze and well let’s say we are BEAT!!!! The picture is beef fat (tallow). We will make a candle with this tomorrow!!! 😄
