The way my baby girl stepped out there and LED that whole band in the Thanksgiving parade yesterday? Man… my heart almost jumped out my chest. Watching her shine like that… pure JOY.

My daughter is a born leader — not because she tries, but because it’s in her.
Straight-A student.
DRUM MAJOR.
Soccer player.
Big sister.
Grinding to graduate an entire YEAR early.

And she handles all of it like it’s nothing. That’s strength. That’s discipline. That’s God’s favor shining right through her.

She inspires ME. She inspires her siblings. She inspires anybody blessed enough to stand in her presence. Her light so bright, you can damn near see her from SPACE.

Baby girl… KEEP GOING. KEEP SHINING. KEEP LEADING.
I am SO PROUD to be your mother. I got your back through every storm, every win, every chapter.

The only thing I’m worried about?
Which college you wanna pick ‘cause Mama gon’ make it happen.

Happy Sweet 16 to my first born! 🎉💖

I can’t believe my baby is 16 today. Watching you grow into the amazing young lady you are has been one of my greatest blessings. You’re such a smart, driven student, a true leader, and a go-getter who never gives up on her goals. You’re not only an incredible daughter but also the best big sister your siblings could ever ask for.

Seeing you shine as a drum major and prepare for college makes me so proud—yet my heart isn’t quite ready for you to leave me just yet 😢. I love you so much and have so much respect for the beautiful, strong, and inspiring young woman you’re becoming.
