Hey you - yes YOU- I want you to remember this the next time you’re doubting yourself.

You’re only doubting yourself because you’ve never been here before. That’s OK. There are many places you had never been before and you grew through them. Even when you thought you couldn’t. You’ll bloom here, too.

As a first-time mom (with tired eyes but an impossibly full heart), this really resonated with me when I saw it. As I navigate this beautiful new journey, I have to remind myself that I’ve started something new before.
I’ve been unsure before.
I’ve been worried that I won’t be able to “bloom” in a new place.

So I’m showing myself all of the grace. I’m giving myself time to acclimate to the newness of mamahood. And I’m reminding myself that I survived all the tough, dark and heartache- filled days to get to this sweet harvest. If I can do that, I can “bloom” here, too.

Im gonna say the same to you: Show yourself grace, too. Cut yourself all of the slack. You’re doing your best. And the growth will come. Trust that — and trust yourself.
