RAQUELLE ENGLISH

A vibrant part of the Illuminate experience, Raquelle has been serving our clients as a concierge for years. She took a little time off to bring her beautiful boy Kenzo into the world, and we are elated to have her back home with us.

A few things you may not know about Raquelle:

-She is a West Virginia girl who grew up in Beckley.

-She is the oldest of five and the only girl.

-She is a sucker for treats and food (as are all Illuminators).

Her biggest fans are oftentimes her coworkers. Some of the words used to describe her are reliable, kind, responsible, professional, determined, and selfless. Here are a few more things her teammates have to say about her.

FRONT DESK POSITION AVAILABLE.

Part-time position controlling the ship at the front desk of Illuminate. This fun role is in need of a people pleaser who wants to work about 20 hours a week. Cool place to work with free hair, what more could you want?

Hi friends! Illuminate is having technical difficulties and we are forcibly unplugged from phones and computers today. We hope to repair quickly and get back to communicating with you fine folks soon. Just hang tight!

Luckily power is still lighting us up, so no problems taking care of you in-house today for your appointments.

Starting tomorrow, August 18th, we will be following the City of Charlotte mask mandate. We ask that you please come into the salon wearing your mask but know we are gonna miss those smiling faces! No other changes will be made at this time.

The lounges are back! Our arrival and color lounges are ready for your next visit.

Please see us at the front desk for check-in and have a seat in the lounge. If you prefer you can continue to use the parking lot waiting room, and your stylist will text when they are ready for you.

If you prefer to process in your climate controlled vehicle, that is okay too.

UPDATE: June 1, 2021

Fully vaccinated clients (2weeks post final vaccine dose) will be able to choose whether or not they wear a mask in the salon. We are still requiring our partially or non-vaccinated clients to fully mask at this time.

We have strictly followed the CDC and NCHHS directives since the beginning, and we will continue to do so.

For your safety and ours, all our stylists are fully vaccinated. Your stylist will be more than happy to mask for your comfort during your visit if you would like, so just ask.
