Pride Month serves as a reminder that love knows no boundaries and that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and kindness, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

My birthday month is coming up and I have a small request for my people.

I spend a lot of time being the planner, the one making the reservations, sending the texts, organizing the nights out, and making sure everyone gets together. I love doing it, but this year I want to experience something different.

I am being more intentional this year about asking for what I want and need, so here it is plainly: I want to be invited.

It can be quick, small, huge or over the top. Tea time. Dinner. A random Tuesday link up. Day tripping. A museum. A concert. A walk. A “get dressed, we’re going out” text. I would love for the people in my life to be intentional and make plans with me during the month of June. Consider this me officially entering my “someone else made the plans” era. 😎

A customer recently shared a photo online, allegedly taken at the pharmacy store’s Chelsea, Manhattan location, that has the internet demanding answers. The image shows e.l.f. Cosmetics products, with the lighter foundation shades easily accessible to shoppers, while the darker shades are locked behind a protective case. Putting the store on blast, the X user wrote, “mind you there’s white girls on TikTok bragging about how they had their stealing eras as a teen, yet we have to face the repercussions for it. if you’re gonna lock a certain product up and stop at a specific shade…you’re racist as f*ck, Walgreens.” The comments quickly flooded with people sharing similar shopping experiences. Walgreens has yet to address the post.
