Since December 9th 2012 the month of December has bought me years of sorrow and tears of joy. And over the years the years of sorrow has increased immensely. As all get ready to celebrate their new beginning of the "new year". I am reflecting on this day in memory of one the cousins that I was closest to. He not only was my older cousin but served as a big brother and uncle to my boys. The jokes we have shared the endless time spent talking about the best plan for my life will and never be forgotten. He showed me how to live loving and learning that even though you may not be in the upper echelon you can still enjoy the finer things in life! I say this to you all frequently at the end of the day all we will be left with is memories. Please ensure while the opportunities are afforded to you, you make the most memories as possible, so that when you face your dark mental moments you can draw from those special times, placed and people. If it was not for my memories I would be mentally incapacitated.
You are resting easy cousin free from all illness.

The biggest shout out to my favorite Nephew. I love this kid so much. May you continue to be covered. HAPPY BLESSED 18TH BIRTHDAY.

You know I am always grateful for the effort and support of other's when it comes to my Community outreach.
However I have to get this off my chest. Now I am not one to turn down a donation, however how disrespectful is it for one to basically give the scraps that they don't want. It is also disrespectful to me and the familes that assist to donate open food, expired food, food that has been in one cabinet that has had roaches so the roach eggs have been sitting on the cans.

Over the years I have taken the disrespect because that is what it is and have not said anything as to not disrupt the importance of feeding those in need.
I rather one do not donate anything if you want to treat people like they are beneath you. Why would you give something that you wouldn't feed yourself or your family and more importantly that you would find disrespectful if someone provided you with what was donated.

This is my 6th year of doing this and each year with all the likes on my post all the support that I show each and everyone of you. Show up when you need me. All the " Facebook Family and Friends " You will not support someone in need, not even with one damn can good! It is very disappointing the lack of empathy you all have for people in crisis and stress! I pray that one day you never find yourself in need. And this my sound selfish but I am freaking tired if you can not support mr then I will not be supporting back. I feel so disrespected. The old me would had a lot more colorful languages but I don't do this for me. I do this for those who have less than all of us.

Seeds of Essence is now in week five of collecting donations for our Sixth Annual Thanksgiving Carebox Distribution.

We ask that all who view this post please donate one item off the list at minium.

You do not have to reside in those cities to donate.

Please think of those less fortunate at this crucial time with the economy we all are living in.

The ask is that the items from the below list be purchased. If you are unable to physically purchase the item, there is an option for the items to be delivered. Please contact me for the location.

We accept monetary donation however that is not the first method of choice. If you are donating funds you will recieve a valid receipt for your donation.

Hello everyone it is that time of year again where Seeds of Essence will be seeking donations for it's 6th Annual Thanksgiving Carebox Distribution. We have helped to provide meals for families in Charlotte, Brooklyn and Philadelphia. This will be our 6th year serving these communities.

This will be our most challenging year as the economy has proven to be most difficult for basic needs.

The asked is if each one of my followers and anyone that may see this post can please donate so that this can be another successful year helping our community.

There are many ways to donate, we ask if you are able to, please purchase an item. That is the first way we prefer to recieved donations. I want to make note that we accept all donations however Monetary Donations would be accepted last to keep in full transparency of how the donations are distributed.

To ensure that careboxes are uniformed we please ask that only the items listed on the list be purchased, and if you are donating from your household pantry please have those donations in alignment with the list, this helps keep us within our goal for everyone to recive the same items.

If you decide to provide a monetary donation, you will receive a reciept from Seeds of Essence business PayPal. Please note which city you wish your donation to be applied too.

Dates and locations for the Carebox Distribution will.be posted on 11/01/2025. If you know a family in need of a carebox or you yourself is in need please send me a message so that you may be put on the list to recieved a Carebox.
