When I arrived in Mexico, I was barely able to ambulate past a few steps. Simple movements caused excruciating pain. And my biggest fear was how I’d be able to get around by myself.
Meet my guardian angel Juan. Every day, he comes up to my room with a wheelchair and rolls me down to the shuttle and helps me get into the treatment center. His only job requirement is to drive the shuttle, but he goes above and beyond for me.
Last week he said a prayer for me and it brought me to tears. 😭He told me that he could feel energy in the room while he was praying and knows that I’m healed.
This morning when he saw me walking into the lobby with my cane, he couldn’t stop smiling and celebrating. 😭💕 Receiving this from someone I’ve known for such a short time is a reminder that love will always be present and waiting to embrace me no matter what the circumstances are. ❤️
Even in the scariest of situations, God always makes a way and sends people to help. 🙏🏽
I’m also so grateful to all of my supporters and angels at home who’ve been praying for me and sending me healing energy. Those prayers are felt deep in the heart and continue to fill me with a fire to keep fighting! 🔥

The past month has brought on a lot of new health challenges and along with that, a lot of inner strength. 💪🏼
My PET scan in August revealed several new bone cancer lesions alone my spine. This didn’t come as a huge surprise after the pain I’d been experiencing.
While my local oncology team wanted to wait for a few weeks to change treatment, something didn’t feel right to me so I decided to take matters into my own hands.
A week ago, I packed my bags and set out for an integrative treatment center in Mexico. I’m hopeful that the powerful treatments aimed at ramping up my immune system to fight the cancer, will help me heal and get back on my feet.
Taking the decision to come to Mexico by myself wasn’t an easy one but I keep surprising myself with new strength and courage every day of this journey.

This journey has been anything but easy and the past week has been the toughest patch. The love and prayers that I’ve been receiving keep me in a fighting spirit and I just want everyone to know that I’m not going to give up!💕

Took some pics at the hospital today but thought I’d post this instead.
This is me after finishing up with my last client today. Earlier in the morning, I had my quarterly full body PET/CT scan.
During registration, I bonded with the clerk (who also has cancer) about how terrible treatment induced hot flashes are.
I broke down in tears. Upset that someone else had to endure the same discomfort and at the same time…relieved to find a person who can relate.
Scan days are rough not only because of the anxiety for results but also because they remind me of the old “normal” life that I’ve lost and try so hard to cling on to.
So as I sat quietly in the patient area waiting for the radioactive dye to do its job, I closed my eyes and repeated,

“I surrender my fear”
“I surrender my victimhood”
“I surrender my idea of normal”

And as I wrapped up my work day, I couldn’t help but smile at the realization that I get to design my reality. Everything in the room I’m standing in came straight out of my mind. Nope….I’m definitely no victim and as long as I have the air in my lungs, there’s always an opportunity to create a life in which I’m perfectly healed. 💕
