There is something that happens when someone looks in the mirror and sees exactly what they’ve been carrying around in their head, finally ON their head.
It’s not just the hair.
It’s the exhale.
The quiet “oh wow.”
The way their body shifts.
I got into this work because I love the craft of it. The color theory, the placement, the blend. But I stay in this work because of that moment.
This beauty came in today trusting me with her vision and we walked out with this dreamy blonde balayage that I am genuinely obsessed with. The dimension, the softness, the way it moves… she was glowing and I don’t just mean the lighting.
I will never take for granted the people who sit in my chair and give me the chance to be part of something that feels so personal. You let me in. And I don’t take that lightly.
