HAPPY SEPTEMBER 🍁🍁🍁🍁

I have officially moved out of Painted Tree as of last night. Even though the beginning of the week started extremely stressful, it ended the way I’d originally planned… different route, same destination. The new vendors loved the black walls and faux beams, so I just had to fill holes and touch up paint 😮‍💨 And ALL my shelving and bookcases were bought by some amazing vendors. That was my biggest stress relief… not having to move and store all that stuff.

Now that this chapter has closed I feel like I can breathe again. I mentioned back when I announced this that I was going to take a little break to think about what to do next, to focus on what works, and to stop stressing. For now, I want to keep things on a much smaller scale. I will be launching my Christmas ornament event soon! I’ve been asked a lot about that lately, and I promise it’s coming.

But the main thing I need to do is allow myself to decompress. The stress of this past year has stolen my joy, and some motivation for what I love to do. I will always be a creative maker. I want to get back to creating for passion, and not because I need to fill a booth and pray it sells.

I do want to thank everyone that came out this last month! I was so happy to not have to store but so much inventory 😂 Have a great holiday weekend! I will sharing more about what’s happening next ❤️

Move out day moved up a day!

I know I said I wasn’t moving out until tomorrow, but the arrangement I had fell through yesterday morning. The space was supposed to be taken over AS IS. So, what was going to be a very simple pack up inventory and leave is possibly going to be a full on take all fixtures out and repaint the walls back to a neutral color. This is what you do when you leave a vendor booth (or should do). I am now in a mad rush to get all this done in the next 2 days. To say I’m a little stressed is an understatement 😂

I am sooooo sorry if you planned to shop with me tonight or tomorrow. As you can see I still have some inventory! Sooooo…. MAYBE we do something in the VIP group?? Let me know what you think!

I know I’ve been REALLY quiet here all month. I want to get through this move out before getting into anything new. A lot is about to change starting next month, and I want to transition slowly. Once next week is over I will be updating with more info.

I got a little sad today when I went up to fluff my booth after the weekend 😢 thinking about how there are only 3 weeks left till I move out.

But I also got excited seeing how much you guys are getting too. I know the booth still seems full, but I am always the filling holes! And there are several of one design too!!
I’m actually a little shocked a few FAN FAVORITES are still on the shelves!! The Party Of signs, the Always Remember (this is my biggest surprise!) and the patriotic banners! There are also 2 baskets of Christmas ornaments and the hats! So much is still available! Come see me! ❤️

This is not my usual type post, but I know quite a few makers/business owners follow me here too. And you may also know someone interested in this.

I am selling this Silhouette Cameo Pro. It is the 24 inch model, so it cuts the BIG stuff! As you can see, I’ve never used it. Still has the tape and sealed bags. I also never registered it in my name. I have everything but the box it came from in! This needs to be a local purchase since I have no way of shipping. If you think someone you would be interested, pass this along 🤗

I spent some of my morning getting the start of all inventory stocked at Painted Tree. I say start because there’s more 😬 This is what was currently there and all Fall decor. Next will be Christmas, Spring and anything else I can find 😂! Things will end up in crates and bins because there are not enough shelves!

Took a little break from all the things I HAD to do to today!

A little SN👀k peek at something I’ve been working on today! I’ll share the finished product soon!!

This is going to be a long post, and lots of info! But I will try to be as to the point as I can 😉

It’s no secret we are in a terrible economic state. All retail is suffering right now. So, I’ve made the decision to leave my booth space in Painted Tree at the end of August. I know 😔… and this is not an easy decision for me. But the sales are just not there right now. I KNOW this isn’t because of me, or my product. People just aren’t shopping in store. I can not justify paying rent and commissions when I’m not making the money I need to in order to keep a booth stocked. The saying “if it doesn’t make dollars, it doesn’t make sense”.

So, what does this mean for now? Well, I’m taking a break from a physical location for little bit. I’ll be honest… this year has had me STRESSED out! Your girl is TIRED 🤣 But it’s only for little bit… I promise. I will reach out to stores when I’m ready, and when the timing is right I will set up shop! For now, my plan is to offer things in the VIP GROUP. I have fall and Christmas plans in motion. I will be releasing new Christmas ornaments for the BIG ORNAMENT SALE ( I’ll have dates for that soon). And I’m sure after the holidays I’ll have a better idea how and where I want to move forward.

I have several avenues in my business. I want to work on growing these areas a little more too. I love working with area real estate agents for closing gifts. I also am looking forward to growing the door hanger subscription box some more. And I have my maker membership too. So, no worries about me closing up shop… NOT A CHANCE!

This picture is almost everything I pulled out of storage from previous seasonal decor 😬. I will be taking EVERYTHING to Painted Tree over the next week to clear it out! I will be running a continuous sale all month long as well! You do not want to miss this! Please help me clear this inventory out! My plan is to have all NEW inventory when I come back to a booth. I want to spend the next few months recreating designs and curating a whole new feel! This months sales will help fund that new adventure!!
