Great place to park your car and walk around to see Presidents Circle and beautiful flowering trees 📌 Potterfield Bridge - incredibly scenic bridge crossing over the James River 📌 Agecroft Hall & Garden - Tudor mansion built in England in the 15th century & brought to RVA - beautiful manicured gardens to walk through 📌 Belle Isle - walk across a suspended pedestrian foot bridge that runs across the James River over to an island. Theres a trail that runs along the perimeter of the island that’s great walk featuring river and city views | 1.3 mile loop from the parking lot 📌 Floodwall Trail - some of the best views of the city from a top the flood wall - walk the entire trail or just a portion | 4.2 miles out and back 📌 Maymont Park - walk the rolling hills of this amazing park. Italian & Japanese Gardens, nature center, rescued animals, & miles of walking paths 📌 Byrd Park - 287 acre park with walking trails & ponds 📌 Browns Island - an island with great views of RVA & access to the Potterfield bridge 📌 North Bank Trail - excellent trail that runs along the James River | 2.8 miles out and back or make it a longer loop & combine with the buttermilk trail (6.1 miles) 📌 Virginia War Memorial - a beautiful place to pay respect to our fallen veterans but also a gorgeous place to see skyline views of the city and river.
