I have a question for you to think about. I don’t need you to answer me, just give it some thought. Here goes. How many times do you say I’ll pray for you, and truly pray for them. Or do you get busy and when you pray you just pray a generate prayer. Did you know when you tell someone that you’re going to pray for them God wants you to pray for them specifically?

The best way to take care of that is when someone ask you to pray for them is to stop what you are doing and pray right then. It doesn’t have to be a sermon unless the Holy Spirit leads you to pray that long, then that’s good too. The point I’m trying to make is don’t tell someone you’re going to pray for them unless you’re going to either write it down or pray right then.
