Hi everyone! ☀️
With these super hot temperatures lately, spray tanning has been a little more challenging since sweat can mix with the solution and affect how your tan develops.
The good news is my husband and I have made some exciting upgrades to create a cool, comfortable tanning space that can be used year-round! 🤎 We’re just waiting on everything to be installed.
In the meantime, I’ll be moving my spray tanning setup to a cooler area so everyone stays as comfortable as possible during their appointment.
If you’ve recently gotten a tan and feel like the heat may have affected your results, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’m more than happy to respray you. I want everyone to leave feeling confident and loving their glow.
I love ALL of you who have supported me and want to create beautiful tans for you every time. Thank you all so much for your patience and support! 🫶

✨ A quick jayne glow co. update! ✨
First things first - I am still spray tanning! 🤎
Starting June 22, I’ll be beginning a 5-week pharmacy rotation that is out of town. Because my schedule may vary and I may need to stay overnight some days, I won’t be using my normal booking availability during that time.
If you’d like to book a spray tan, please send me a Facebook message or text me directly, and I’ll work with you to find a time that fits both of our schedules!
Thank you all for your continued support and flexibility as I balance pharmacy school and growing jayne glow co. I appreciate every single one of you and can’t wait to keep you glowing this summer! ☀️

This is so much more than a spray tan 🤍
I had the privilege of helping a beautiful bride-to-be feel confident as she said “YES” to the dress.
Being trusted for life’s special moments, engagements, weddings, vacations, and celebrations, is one of my favorite parts of what I do.
Years from now, she may not remember her spray tan, but she’ll remember how she felt when she found her dress. Knowing I got to play even the smallest role in that moment means the world to me.
Here’s to finding the dress and glowing through every moment in between 💒

When the tan is done right, you notice the person before you notice the tan.
Soft, natural color. No streaks. No patchiness. Just a gorgeous glow that looks like it belongs. 🤎
Spray tan sessions with Morgan Ramsour make my whole week and remind me why I started this in the first place 🥰

✨💍 Wedding Glow-Up 💍✨
It was such an honor to be a part of this beautiful wedding! 🤍
Not only did I have the privilege of spray tanning the bride, but I also sprayed her entire bridal party so everyone could walk into the big day feeling confident, radiant, and photo-ready.
There’s something special about seeing a bride and her bridesmaids glowing together! From getting ready photos to the last dance. My goal is always to provide a natural, customized tan that enhances your beauty and helps you feel your best for life’s biggest moments.
Congratulations to the happy couple, and thank you for trusting me to be a small part of your special day! 🥂💕

🇺🇸 D-Day Remembrance 🇺🇸
This weekend, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the Allied forces who landed on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.
On D-Day, thousands of service members risked everything in the fight for freedom, forever changing the course of history. Their bravery and the sacrifices of so many others remind us of the cost of the liberties we enjoy today.
We honor the heroes who served, those who never returned home, and the families whose lives were forever changed.
Freedom is never free, we remember.

☀️💊 Did You Know? Some Medications Can Make You More Sensitive to the Sun! 💊☀️
As summer approaches, it’s important to know that certain medications can increase your risk of photosensitivity - a reaction that makes your skin more susceptible to UV damage from the sun.
What is photosensitivity?
Photosensitivity occurs when a medication causes your skin to react more strongly to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. This can lead to:
• Faster sunburns
• More severe burns
• Redness and inflammation
• Rashes or blistering
• Increased skin damage from UV exposure
Some common medications associated with photosensitivity include:
💊 Antibiotics
• Doxycycline
• Minocycline
• Ciprofloxacin
• Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim (Bactrim)
💊 Acne Medications
• Isotretinoin (Accutane)
💊 Blood Pressure Medications
• Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ)
• Furosemide (Lasix “water pill”)
• Some ACE inhibitors (ramipril, enalapril, quinapril) and ARBs (losartan, valsartan, etc)
💊 Diabetes Medications
• Sulfonylureas (such as glipizide and glyburide)
💊 Anti-inflammatory Medications
• Naproxen (Aleve)
• Piroxicam (Feldene)
• Ibuprofen (Motrin)
• Diclofenac (Voltaren)
• Celecoxib (Celebrex)
💊 Other Common Medications
• Amiodarone
• Certain antidepressants (amitriptyline, zoloft, prozac, etc)
• Some antihistamines (Claritin, Zyrtec, Xyzal, etc)
What does this mean for your skin?
Even a short amount of sun exposure can result in a burn that would normally take much longer to occur. Repeated UV damage can contribute to:
• Premature aging
• Dark spots and hyperpigmentation
• Breakdown of collagen and elastin
• Increased risk of skin cancer
Spray tan clients: Remember!
A spray tan gives you a beautiful bronzed glow, but it does not provide UV protection. If you’re taking a photosensitizing medication, sunscreen becomes even more important (even though it’s ALWAYS important).
✔️ Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily
✔️ Reapply every 2 hours when outdoors
✔️ Wear hats and protective clothing
✔️ Check with your pharmacist or healthcare provider if you’re unsure whether your medication increases sun sensitivity
Your skin is your largest organ - protect it while enjoying that sun-kissed glow! 🤎☀️
