What a great time at the Union Saddle Club Event last weekend. If you missed it, they plan on doing it next year. I appreciate all the hard work that went into it
The Horse Hair firing will be at the Union Saddle Club Arena, 600 E. Park, Union, MO. Bring your horse hair and your custom piece can be made there. If you can, bring a thumbs thickness of hair, as long as possible. More than one horse can be done on a pottery piece. Check out my website...earthandwheel
I will be part of the Union Saddle Club Event on Sept. 8 thru 10. I will have my kiln so bring hair and will make custom pieces right then.

Horse hair pottery was developed by the Navajo. They made it to empower their horse. Most people think of getting a piece of pottery made when their horse passes but it is spring...let's empower ourselves and our horses.x
