My friend was told she had a bad reaction to a hair process due to Pulp Riot coming out with a new developer.... Pulp Riot has not come out with a new developer nor have they changed their developers formula.

THIS IS SERIOUS.

If you do not have a LICENSE do not use professional product at home. It is DANGEROUS. This is what we spend hours of school and testing for, to prevent things like this.

If you insist on using professional product and you are not a professional PLEASE READ THE MANUFACTURER INSTRUCTIONS. This can be found on every professional product from non abrasive take home professional sold leave in conditioner to abrasive perm solution.

My friends entire neck, scalp, and ears are now covered in scabs.. 🥺 The product used can reach desired results in 5 minutes and should not be left on no longer than 30 min at room temperature. It was left on for an hour with a bag on her head, which retains heat from the scalp. My guess is had they used a higher developer she wouldn't have hair at all and I'm sure is having hair loss now due to the scabbing on her scalp as is.

Now she is using medication to heal her poor head. My ultimate advice is make sure you always see a professional when using chemicals on your head. If you want to cut your hair with a bowl on top so be it but these chemicals are not to be played with.
