How I turned 11 years of upcycled coffee grounds into a plastic-free soap brand — and why I'm only now selling it directly.
In 2015 I asked one Brooklyn café for the espresso grounds they were throwing out every morning. I went home and made soap. One café became a few. A few became wholesale stockists across 20+ states.
But it was always wholesale — you could only find it if your local shop happened to carry it. That never sat right with me.
So this week I'm finally selling it directly. The Variety 3-Pack is handcrafted in Brooklyn from grounds that would otherwise go to landfill — plastic-free, palm oil-free, made by one person.

We started because someone had to figure out what to do with all that spent coffee. Turns out, the answer was soap.
