Skin cancer doesn’t discriminate and neither should sun protection. ☀️🤎
There’s a dangerous misconception that darker skin tones don’t need SPF, but the truth is Women of Color are often diagnosed with skin cancer at later, more advanced stages due to lack of awareness, delayed detection, and misinformation about UV damage.
Here’s why this conversation matters:
• Darker skin tones can still experience UV damage and should wear SPF daily
• Melanoma in Women of Color is frequently diagnosed in later stages
• The Hispanic community is seeing a significant rise in skin cancer cases
• More than 50% of Black patients and 26% of Hispanic patients receive an initial melanoma diagnosis at stages 3–4, compared to 16% of White patients

This past year has been full of so many ups and downs but im happy to still be thriving at some capacity. Happy birthday to the brand & the vision!!
Today, im officially closing a 6 year chapter of conducting business in Chicago. Its been such a pleasure to serve the city for as long as I have. I will miss those who are unable to follow me back to the burbs.🤍
