On a day like today that has been centered with love and friendship in mind, let’s continue to demand for a ceasefire, demand for the end of the occupation and free Palestine. There’s so much grief in the world and I truly am sending love to everyone missing someone and to those who are at a complete loss of words for the things happening in and outside of our lives.

I hope you take care of your hearts and of each other. I hope you know you are loved. I hope you you tell your people you love them every chance you get. I hope you’re taking the time to do things that bring you joy despite it all✨

Have you ever met someone and you truly believe they have a heart of gold? That was our Abe, he’s a special one. Always so kind, thoughtful, helpful and always there to listen. He lived intentionally and did what he could wherever he could.

Can you imagine being so amazing that a foundation is created in your honor? Abe has inspired me in so many ways and not a day goes by where I don’t miss him. Today’s his birthday- and we’re just really missing him. He was so supportive of my work and he was genuinely happy I found something I loved, and he expressed that. He came to my events as often as he could and his loved ones knew me as the “stationery girl”, he was proud of my Papelitos & I. The least I could do in this lifetime is create something that truly represents what he stood for.

One of my favorite things about in person events is being able to see how you react to my Papelitos. My favorite is when they invoke emotion between people browsing. Sometimes they’ll read a Papelito to the person they’re with which will often result in smile, hug, a giggle and sometimes even a kiss 💖
