We're Looking For You! Steamworks Chicago is on the hunt for a full time Maintenance Assistant. If you like working with your hands and have experience painting and handling small fix-it projects then we want to talk to you. Starting pay of $22/hr going up to $22.50/hr after a 90 day introductory period. Hours of work are Tuesday - Saturday 8am-4pm with Sundays & Mondays off. POSITION: Maintenance Assistant

REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: To provide efficient, precise and quality work to the daily maintenance of the overall club and its contents.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute and perform daily maintenance and repairs to the club and its contents as deemed by written orders and assigned by the Facilities Manager. Maintain the highest possible quality of work for all tasks assigned to you. Utilizing a proactive approach in overseeing all details related to the club. Effective communication with the Facilities Manager, General Manager and Operations Manager(s). Documentation of any and all problems found within the club. Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area. Offer assistance to all levels of management when requested. Adhere to and manage all company objectives, standards and policies. Projecting the highest standards of professionalism. To promote, encourage and mentor all employees for their professional growth within the company. Establish a professional working relationship with all staff and managers.
