Know Your Sun & Soil – Most herbs and veggies need at least 6 hours of sunlight, so find a sunny spot. And don’t just grab any dirt—use nutrient-rich, well-draining soil to keep your plants thriving.

Water Wisely, Don’t Drown – Overwatering is a rookie mistake! Most herbs and veggies like their soil moist but not soggy. Stick your finger in the dirt—if it’s dry about an inch down, it’s time to water.
