I’m having a severe case of deja vu because this is about to be me...AGAIN!

I recently injured my wrist while playing tennis and will require orthopedic surgery! Seriously should I start looking into living in a bubble?! Unfortunately this means I will be out of the salon on medical leave from June 19th - August 14th.

I’m SO sorry for any inconvenience this may cause - trust me I would much rather be in the salon than the operating room!

HOW LIGHTING CAN AFFECT YOUR HAIR COLOR ‼️

Changes in lighting can alter the appearance of your hair from moment to moment. Exhibit A...these two photos were taken within seconds of each other but look very different!

Does the hair look great in both pics? YES! But knowing the impact lighting can have on your hair color will save you some stress!

💡Natural indirect lighting is the most accurate representation of your color’s true tone.

💡Many offices and indoor spaces use fluorescent lighting - it’s cool undertone can make your hair look overly ashy or green.

💡Bathrooms typically use yellow bulbs that can make your hair look brassy or overly warm.

💡Direct outdoor lighting equals sun exposure which means more warmth and vibrancy but a lack of depth. Less sun equals a cooler color and more depth and dimension.

Now all you need is to live your whole life in front of a window for that good lighting and you’ll be fine - if Rapunzel did it so can you! It’s called commitment. 😂
