Let's talk beginning stages of growing out your natural hair color✨
My client has been blonde for years now. She's is a beautiful natural red head and has decided that she wants to start the process of growing out her natural hair. So we brought up the pieces around her face and feathered up her current highlight pattern to eliminate any hard lines painted into the hair. As time goes on we will continue to touch up her money piece and let the rest grow out naturally which will leave her color looking fresh while also gradually exposing more of her beautiful natural color✨

Let's talk about why I almost always talk my clients out of getting a base with their highlights even when they want full grey coverage✨
Previously my client was always getting a base with her highlights to get full coverage of her greys. She prefers the tone of her blonde to be more cool/neutral. What tends to happen when you have a permanent base between your foils is it gets very warm over time, so her hair would always be much warmer than she would prefer by the time she was ready to have her hair touched up again. The line of demarcation was also much harsher against her natural hair coming in. With having just highlights with your natural color between, it will help disguise the hair in a more natural way as your hair grows out. It's all about blending! No more harsh lines or unwanted warm tones here🫶🏻

My client's natural hair color is a level 2 with a medium texture, which means we have to go in and do a LOT of packed and extremely skinny foils to really allow the hair to incubate and achieve that bright and icy blonde that she desires. Lifted with BlondeMe with 20 volume, toned with 9A=10A Demi❄️

My client always likes to keep her blonde natural looking and low maintenance, so we went in with some skinny feathered highlights all throughout and left her natural at the root for a soft grow out. Lifted with Synchro and 5 volume, toned with 10GI Shades for a bright and natural warm blonde🤍
