One of the things I appreciate most about advanced education is learning from artists who are willing to share the real behind-the-chair experience. The techniques, the why behind the choices, the small adjustments that elevate the end result, and the confidence to think beyond “one size fits all.”

Thankful to everyone who showed up, asked questions, shared perspectives, and invested in growing their craft these past few days. Education hits differently when the room is engaged, collaborative, and open to learning from each other.

Excited to keep building more opportunities like this throughout the territory. 💣

I’m feeling incredibly lucky—and even more grateful for the journey that led here.

Today, n St. Patrick’s Day, I begin a new chapter as Field Education Manager with Kao Salon Division, leading education and supporting stylists across Illinois and Wisconsin.

This opportunity has been rooted in years behind the chair—learning, teaching, and growing alongside incredible mentors, colleagues, and clients.

I’m so grateful to the teams at and , along with all the incredible clients who trusted me with their hair and their stories for all these years. You’ve all been such an important part of the foundation that brought me here.

Thank you as well to the leadership team who encouraged me along the way—especially , , , and . Your guidance and belief in me mean more than you know.

In this new role, I’ll have the privilege of supporting salons and artists working with Goldwell, KMS, Kerasilk, and Varis.

Education has always been one of the most meaningful parts of my career, and I’m excited to continue supporting and empowering stylists as they grow their creativity, confidence, and success behind the chair.

Feeling lucky—and incredibly grateful for the people and experiences that helped me grow into this next chapter. 🍀

Today was my last day behind the chair.

Since 1997, being a stylist has given me the opportunity to create color, share conversations, celebrate milestones, and build relationships with the incredible people who trusted me with their hair.

To every client who ever sat in my chair in the last 28 years — thank you. Thank you for your loyalty, your stories, your laughter, and for allowing me to be part of your lives in such a personal way. Being your stylist has been an honor I will never take for granted.

I’m also so grateful for and the team I’ve had the privilege of working alongside. The stylists here aren’t just coworkers — they’re family. The support, creativity, and friendships we’ve built together are something I will always carry with me.

This industry has given me creativity, lifelong friendships, and opportunities I never could have imagined when I first started in 1997. One thing that has always meant the most to me is sharing knowledge and helping other stylists grow.

I’m also incredibly grateful for my family, who supported the long days, late nights, and weekends that come with this career.

This chapter has meant more to me than words can fully express.

While today closes one door, I’m stepping into a new chapter that I’m incredibly excited about — and I can’t wait to share more soon.

For now, I’m just feeling grateful for every moment spent behind the chair. 🤍
