This year’s conference was dedicated to the late Eloy Salazar. Thank you for the many years of service and dedication to the Farmworkers and others in similar professions. Your legacy will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace Eloy!

Our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Juan Andrade. A true inspiration and role model. Thankful for joining us. Wishing him a speedy recovery from his illness. Lastly, he received the IAACOMA Award. Congratulations!

Dagmara Avelar, Program Manager for the New American Initiative and Immigrant Family Resource Program at ICIRR spoke about PUBLIC CHARGE.

Julie Pryde, Administrator of the Champaign-Urbana Public Health Department spoke about their Immigrant Cooperative program.

Pilsen Wellness Center’s Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors Janelle Otero and Néstor Issac Flores presented on how they conduct therapeutic sessions with family members. Cultural competency is key. How they deal with different personalities, etc.

Eddy Borrayo, President and CEO, Rincon Family Services presented on the Opioids Crisis.
