🌻Do you know that there are cosmetic ingredients that experts suggest you avoid during pregnancy and nursing? They include: retinoids such as isotretinoin, tetracycline, salicylic acid (found in many cleansers and shampoos), benzoyl peroxide, hydroquinone and phthalates.
In general, most over-the-counter skincare products, especially those with some active ingredients in low doses, are safe during pregnancy.
