For those who don’t know I take photos. Photography is definitely not easy, and during Covid my business got hit bad. It took a few years to recover, and it was a slow recovery, however with patience it’s doing okay. Check out my latest work below

Normalize asking God for clarity before making a decision.

Not after the choice is already made.
Not when things fall apart.
Not when regret sets in.

Before.

We live in a culture that glorifies quick moves and bold leaps. “Trust your gut.” “Do what feels right.” “Don’t overthink it.” And while confidence has its place, so does discernment.

There is wisdom in pausing.

Before you say yes.
Before you send the message.
Before you sign the paper.
Before you walk away.

Ask God for clarity.

It’s not weakness. It’s maturity.

Clarity protects you from emotional decisions. It protects you from rushing into what looks good but isn’t God. It protects you from forcing doors that were never meant to open.

Sometimes what feels urgent isn’t actually important. Sometimes what feels exciting isn’t actually aligned. And sometimes what feels uncomfortable is exactly where obedience lives.

When you invite God into your decision-making, you shift from impulse to intention.

Clarity may not always come as a loud answer. Sometimes it’s a steady peace. Sometimes it’s a hesitation you can’t ignore. Sometimes it’s confirmation through Scripture, wise counsel, or repeated signs pointing in the same direction.

Other times, clarity comes as a “not yet.”

And that matters too.

Normalize asking God for clarity before making a decision because not every opportunity is an assignment. Not every open door is meant to be walked through. Not every relationship is meant to be pursued.

God sees what you don’t.

He sees the long-term impact.
He sees the hidden details.
He sees the consequences attached to choices that look harmless on the surface.

Why would you move without consulting the One who knows the full picture?

Clarity doesn’t mean fear. It doesn’t mean paralysis. It simply means alignment.

When you pause to pray, you give space for wisdom to rise above emotion. You give room for peace to override pressure. You give God the chance to redirect you before you have to recover.

And sometimes the greatest blessing isn’t the decision you make—it’s the disaster you avoid because you waited.

Normalize asking God for clarity before making a decision.

Make it a habit. Make it instinct. Make it your first response instead of your last resort.

Because the cost of one rushed decision can be heavy. But the reward of one clear, God-led decision can change everything.

Clarity is protection.
Clarity is peace.
Clarity is partnership with heaven.

And when you move with clarity, you move with confidence—not because you figured it out alone, but because you sought the One who never guesses.

Real happiness comes from keeping God first. This kind of peace cannot be purchased. Yes you will face storms in life, but when you face storms with God in the midst, you find that peace.
