Patient was first treated with Kybella 2 months ago to help reduce the fat under her chin. We then added Radiesse to her cheeks, jawline and chin to help give it a more defined and slim appearance.

Who else thinks flight nursing is bad ass? 🙋🏼♀️ 🙋🏼♀️-This picture is another baby nurse Annie throwback from my ED travel nurse days in Los Angeles in 2015. 🤗 It took me trying several different areas of nursing before I was able to develop a solid professional identity with myself as a nurse and an undeniable passion for Cosmetic Dermatology Nursing. There is beauty in the grey area of nursing, because it provides space for nurses to forge their own path and write their own story. Although I found every area of nursing I practiced rewarding (ie. Telemetry, ED, Procedure / infusion)... I simply had no craving for my career; that is, until I got into cosmetic dermatology nursing. I find anti-aging and regenerative medicine to be fascinating. It is the one area that I would enjoy doing even on my off days or unpaid. That is how I knew this was where I belonged. A lot of nurses have reached out and asked me how I made the switch from the hospital setting to the clinic. The answer is that I took a chance. I was always intrigued with the the Cosmetic Dermatology field so my advice for anyone looking into it would be to maybe find a part time position you could do 1-2 days a week while still keeping your hospital position to make sure that it is a right fit for you.
Be passionate about your life! Learn to live without the fear of failing. The important thing is not being afraid to take a chance or using excuses like ‘I’m to old’. Remember, the greatest failure is to not try. Once you find something you love to do, strive to be the best at doing it. 💋✨💫

KYBELLA® is an FDA approved prescription medicine used in adults to dissolve the fat below your chin ie. “double chin”.
