Around June 30th or July 1st, 2024, I received a call from a male client who wanted to book a facial service. He mentioned that my booking app didn’t show a 5:30 PM appointment slot, so I told him no worries I could manually book it for him. I asked him to text me his full name and email so I could create the appointment. He agreed but mentioned he would text the information from another phone because the screen on his current phone was broken. I didn’t think much of it and simply confirmed, saying, “Okay, see you soon.” When the client arrived, it was just me and Aubrey at my business. I set Aubrey up in the waiting area with snacks and her tablet, then prepared to proceed with the client’s service. Once in the treatment room with the door closed, I began getting ready to start his facial. Suddenly, he asked if he could change the service. I said, “Sure, which facial would you like?” He responded that he wanted a Vajacial. I explained that Vajacials are specifically for women and that I no longer offered Manjacials, so the service wasn’t available. He pleaded, saying he had recently gotten waxed and was experiencing painful ingrown hairs. He mentioned that the person who used to provide this service for him had moved away. Reluctantly, I agreed to accommodate him just this once, as I always strive to meet my clients’ needs.I stepped out of the room to allow him to undress and provided him with proper coverage garments. When I returned to start the service, I began feeling uneasy. I noticed he had his phone out, appearing as though he was recording. He must have sensed my discomfort because he asked, “Do you play spades?” and turned the phone to show me that he wasn’t recording. Moments later, he asked if he could show me a dry patch of skin, which required removing the garments. I firmly said, “No, you cannot expose yourself in my establishment. I can only help with the areas that are already uncovered.” What happened next was horrifying he began touching himself inappropriately and ej******ed all over my facial table. I was in complete shock, scared, and shaken. I immediately told him to leave and informed him I was calling the police. He apologized profusely, claiming the steam caused it to happen. I yelled at him to get out.
As this was unfolding, one of the photographers I work with, who happened to be in the back of the building, heard the commotion and came to check on me. The man tried to justify his actions, saying his Uber was downstairs, but the photographer informed me that he had seen the man circling the block in a blue car before parking on the corner. The photographer even recalled speaking to him earlier when the man asked where I was located. This revelation shook me to my core it became clear that this man had likely planned this entire encounter with malicious intent. Later, I discovered he was a registered s*x offender. The manipulation and deceit from start to finish were calculated, and I am left with the terrifying realization that he could have caused me serious harm.
