Though my mom wore makeup regularly, it wasn’t something I was taught. Actually, if your household was anything like mine then it was off limits until I was 16 (and only eyeliner). Any skills I picked up, were all observational learning lol. From watching my mom, to the 2016 beauty gurus, I have gone through my own self discovery with makeup and continue to as a Makeup Artist of over 9 years.

I recognize that we all have our own experiences when it comes to being introduced to world of makeup. But what most people will find theyre missing, is an in-person instructor that gives real-time feedback. Along with experiencing it with other women who are learning, right alongside you. Because I mean, the beauty community is just that—a community. Let’s make the rediscovering of you a reality!

I am grateful when a client tells me what they’re thinking! We have all seen the horror stories of clients who have been too uncomfortable to speak up during their service and they leave dissatisfied. My goal is always to have people feeling their best when leaving my chair, so dialogue is a must!! She hadn’t had her makeup done in years so it made me a bit anxious but when a client comes in with a vision it definitely helps the process.
