Hey Beloved Customers!

I’ve been getting inquiries as to if/when Luxe will do it’s yearly campaign. Wanted to let you know that the campaign was postponed due to several issues including but not limited to printing issues as well as the issues with mail. This means that during this holiday season and the additional strain that the pandemic has placed on package delivery systems, not only would I be subject late arrivals of supply needs which would make your orders late but I’d also not be able to print product and mailing labels as my printer has gone to rest in techie heaven.

Also what is happening with requesting package pick-ups is shakey in my area and conversely going into USPS delivery offices on the regular to drop off orders myself for delivery is not something that I personally prefer to risk for reasons I’m sure you understand. In addition, you as customers would be subject to worse than the usual kind of destination delays, lost packages etc. that I am seeing happen with small businesses as well as larger ones.

I thank you for your past patronage and your present patience. I will reevaluate all of this at some point in 2021 and contemplate Luxe’s next move as far as the level of investment I can continue to put into this business vs the return once the dust clears.

Until then, take care of yourselves, stay as safe and as silky as you can and I will update you in the near future.

Um...to some of my sweet customers...you have to wet your skin before using Luxe scrub. I mean really, you should wet your skin before using ANY kind of scrub but especially a thick emulsified one. 🙂

All Luxe orders that are not being picked up in person were mailed out this week. All...of...them.

Confirmations and tracking numbers came straight from USPS to the emails you provided me.
Now, we all know good and well that USPS as well as other delivery services are unpredictable this time of year. So sadly that means, and you know this as well, it may take longer for packages to get to you due to either a backlog of holiday deliveries or some brand of silliness USPS is capable of. All packages are insured so no matter what...you’re going to get your products. One way or another. For most of you, this isn’t your first time at the rodeo with me. So...you should know I deliver on the goods.

If you’re picking up in person...either I’ve contacted you already or I will be contacting you shortly to set up a time. I am mailing orders and contacting in persons pickup folks in the order of who placed an order first to last.

Supplies will arrive sometime this Saturday afternoon. This year’s seasonal offerings will then be posted before the weekend is over.

Due to requests for a return, Luxe Body Scrubs will be back again this year in the same scents as the butters.

For those who have never purchased Luxe Body Scrubs, a note: Luxe Scrubs are a bit different than basic body scrub.

They are what’s called “emulsified” scrubs, or as I nicknamed them, “no mess” scrubs. The difference is that instead of sitting in a base of carrier oil, with our scrub the exfoliant (sugar, coffee, or whatever) is in a base that is closer to what you could call a thick, slightly lathery type lotion. I tediously make this base myself, by hand, each batching session that I have to make scrub for orders.

The benefits to this base, and the reasons why even though it’s a lot more work I still prefer this method are:
1) No slippery shower
2) No messy oil all over everything (harder to spill)
3) A little bit of cleansing power
3) Skin has a more silky feel afterwards
5) Luxe Butters take very, very well after this scrub.
