Mass incarceration hurts our economy, but most importantly harms black and brown communities the greatest. Cook County Department of Corrections Individuals will be blessed this year with items we donate to Rainbow PUSH Coalition National Headquarters in their continued fight towards human rights.

Yesterday was nothing short of amazing, but he started a few days ago when he asked me to be his valentine. A simple ask even though you know the answer is yes really does something to a girl. Thus, he got this so much more and was super excited to spend a day with his heartbeat. Our love has flourished and blossomed and it stems from how we first were loved by God and our parents and then learned to love ourselves.

My first valentine, my daddy was the very first person to wish me a happy love day as usual. I have an awesome father, A great best friend, my brother is my hero, and my son is my idol. But God! He had a partner designed just for me and the King in him all I can say is thank you Lord.

Woke Kam up to flowers, balloons, body wash, cards, breakfast and money 💰💰💰🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️... what can I say I want to show him daily I love him and how he and his future should treat one another.

MY TUURRNNN....after school to an almost straight A honors student, lacrosse practice,and more he arrived at my car with an Edible Arrangement- nope not keto 🤣💚, candle, and cup he knew I'd like. I love my son!

I love the men in my life ... Lord you knew how to cover me in the interim, before I was born, even when I was just needing a friend. Thank you
