I absolutely adore these two and all their stunning photos! It truly means the absolute world when my brides are willing to share these emotional and intimate moments with me. More than I love the art of makeup, I LOVE being part of such an important day and having the honor to make my brides feel special, beautiful, and confident. Seeing my work come together and captured in their wedding photo albums is my favorite part of the job 🥹

Stephanie is without question one of the most naturally stunning brides I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Believe it or not, she’s barely wearing any foundation and we kept all face products minimal, building very sheer layers for longevity. Stephanie put a lot of care and consistency into her skin which is a MUST if you want a glowy, barely there look that is not only flawless but also lasts all day! 👏🏻

I don’t care what anyone tells you—no, you do NOT need to wear a lot of makeup to have it last all day. But a truly natural or “barely there” base (tbh, ANY base) WILL require healthy and hydrated skin so the makeup can adhere properly!

And again, I don’t care what anyone else says, NO makeup primer will ever be able to do the work of a proper skincare regimen. There is no quick fix, but there IS a completely achievable solution!

What you need is:

✨ a consistent skincare regimen tailored to your skin’s needs curated by a professional (esthetician and/or dermatologist) at MINIMUM 6 months out from your date, but ideally a year or longer, especially if you’re dealing with problematic skin conditions and/or sensitivity.
✨ quarterly (or more, depending on your goals and budget) professional skincare treatments that address your needs and concerns—chemical peels, hydrafacials, facials with dermaplaning, microneedling, etc.
✨ a professional makeup artist with the skills, expertise, and knowledge of the right products and techniques to deliver the look of your dreams.
✨ PATIENCE! noticeable results take time. stay consistent and keep in mind that your skin may look worse before it gets better. that is why starting as early as possible is key so you can take it slow, building skin health and resilience without overwhelming your skin!
