Looking for 2 or 3 subjects for a Melasma (discoloration commonly presented in patches vs spots/freckles) study I'd like to conduct. Cost will be around $200-400 and includes home care regimen. Skin Care 101: Sunscreen is essential! Not only does it protect you from skin cancer, but it is the best anti-age measure you can take. Even during the Winter or overcast days. Damaging UV rays are always present during the day, so should sunscreen be on your skin!

It is vital to reapply sunscreen during times of high sun exposure. No matter the degree of sunscreen, you must reapply! During these high exposure times, I would suggest reapplication every other hour. SPF 30 or higher is recommended. Powdered sunscreens are best for reapplication as they do not clog the pores and will actually help to reduce shine. Win win!

Skin Care 101: Rinsing and repeating during the cleansing process is a must! The first cleanse will clean superficial debris, while the second ensures a proper, thorough cleanse. This then allows products to properly absorb. It also decreases the likelihood of blackheads caused by residual matter left on the skin due to it being pushed into the pores & sealed when moisturizer is applied.
