Mi historia empieza con una mujer valiente: mi mamá.
Ella emigró de Honduras a Venezuela, un país que la acogió, le abrió las puertas y me permitió nacer, crecer y soñar. En casa siempre se habló de la emigración con respeto y propósito: ir a estudiar, aprovechar las oportunidades, aprender… y dejar en alto el país que te recibe.

Luego está mi suegra, otra mujer admirable, que emigró de Venezuela a Estados Unidos. Con su ejemplo, trabajo y constancia, se desarrolló profesionalmente y abrió camino para toda su familia. Un legado que se siente y se honra.

Y hoy estoy yo.
Emigrante también.
Profundamente agradecida por todo lo que este país me ha permitido: crecer como esteticista, aprender un nuevo idioma, reinventarme y creer en mí.
