Summertime greetings to each of our friends, followers and fans of the Chicago Symphony Chorus! We hope that you all enjoyed a most wonderful and safe Fourth of July holiday and weekend celebrating America's 250th Birthday!

Our Chicago Symphony Orchestra colleagues will begin their summer residency this coming Saturday evening, July 11th, up at the Ravinia Music Festival with an amazing star studded concert lead by conductor Marin Alsop in the Hunter Pavillion in Highland Park.

This Grand Opening Gala will feature soprano Janai Brugger performing the Star Spangled Banner as well as the award winning pianist Yunchan Lim playing Ravel's beautiful Piano Concerto in G Major. This concert will also feature superstar flutist Lizzo performing on several great arrangements, including playing
the Flower Duet from Lakmé of Leo Debiles with Kaylee Johnson among many other great selections. Check out the Ravinia website for further details.

On July 16th and 18th you can hear several of our Chicago Symphony Chorus colleagues as they perform in the chorus of Mozart's opera, The Abduction from the Seraglio in the Martin Theater and on the lawn. These performances will be conducted by James Conlin and feature wonderful lead opeea stars!

May greetings to all of our friends, colleagues, fans and followers! The acclaimed, Grammy Award winning members of the CSC - Chicago Symphony Chorus, cordially invited you all to our final concerts of the 2025 - 26 season at Symphony Center this week when we perform Poulenc's stunning "Gloria!", also featuring the stellar voice of soprano soloist Erin Morley!

We'll be joined on the stage at Orchestra Hall by our magnificent colleagues of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, who will also perform Ravel's frolicking "Mother Goose Suite" as well as the beautiful Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony No. 3. You will surely love all these beautifully French inspired pieces and we hope to see you in the audience at one of our end of season concerts featuring the incredible voices of the Chicago Symphony Chorus! The Grammy Award winning members of the Chicago Symphony Chorus welcomes you back to Symphony Center this Thursday, March 19th, Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st, to attend our first concerts of the 2026 season to feature the Chicago Symphony Chorus as they perform some of Verdi's Great Opera Choruses, led by Maestro Ricardo Muti, and prepared by Chorus director Donald Palumbo!

We will be joined on stage by a few incredible soloists and of course,, our terrific colleagues of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. You won't want to miss these amazing performances, led by arguably, the worlds foremost authority of Giuseppe Verdi's music. We wish to thank the well over ten thousand concert goers who attended any of our seven Chicago Symphony Chorus and members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Merry, Merry Chicago Holiday concerts performed between December 19th through the 23rd, 2025!

These fun and beautiful concerts were nearly all sold out and brought much happiness and joy to all in attendance. The music performed was focused on bringing the audience together through music and also in sharing the spirit of the Christmas season by bringing Peace, Joy, Hope and Love to all the people in Orchestra Hall, in the City of Chicago and throughout the world.

We, the members of the Chicago Symphony Chorus would like to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Music filled New Year of 2026.

Fall greetings CSC colleagues, music lovers, concert goers, friends and fans of the Grammy Award winning Chicago Symphony Chorus!

The Chorus will be opening it's 68th season on Thursday evening, November 20th through the 23rd on stage at Symphony Center! We will be performing Mozart's Requiem along with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, conducted under Maestro Manfred Honeck.

This is sure to be a wonderful concert and a unique setting of the Requiem, as it will have several Gregorian Chant passages interspersed throughout Mozart's score! Donald Palumbo named next director of the Chicago Symphony Chorus | Chicago Symphony Orchestra The Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association (CSOA) has announced that distinguished choral director and educator Donald Palumbo has been selected as the next Chorus Director of the Chicago Symphony Chorus.

We, the members of the Chicago Symphony Chorus are thrilled to be back on stage this week, March 13th, 14th and 15th at Symphony Center to perform Haydn's deeply inspired and moving "Mass In Time Of War". This is a piece that has never before been performed by either the Chicago Symphony Orchestra or Chorus, so you don't want to miss these premier concerts!

As we continue our search for a permanent and new Chorus Director, the Chorus for this work was prepared by Donald Nally, and we've never sounded better. The four soloists are equally as outstanding! Conductor, Maestro Manfred Honeck leads this work, along with Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 and the eloquent Larghetto by MacMillan..Tickets to these concerts are going quickly, so order your ticket(s) today!
