Hi all!๐๐ฝMany people donโt have an area to grow their own food or are intimidated by the entire gardening process. Iโve found a super easy way to grow herbs and veggies from your inside your home with a product called Aerogarden! You can grow herbs and veggies with no dirt or sunlight. Add pods, water and plant food. In 3 weeks I was able to harvest lovely basil varieties. Perfect for herb gardening! During these confusing times, itโs comforting to know you can grow your own food inside your home! Has anyone tried this system? Let me know your experience.๐๐ฑ๐ฑ

๐ธ๐ท๐นEdible flowers anyone? Many people are fighting the flu virus this season. A great way to boost your immune system is with Marigolds! Marigolds are more than just pretty flowers, they are also edible! Organic marigolds taste similar to saffron and their bright colors are full of anti-oxidants. Benefits of marigolds are many: they are anti-inflammatory, boost the immune system, help reduce eczema, possess natural antiseptic properties, and also helps eye inflammation and conjunctivitis. Enjoy marigolds in a tea, or add to soups and salads. Make sure they are organic and not sprayed with pesticides. Flower power!! Whatโs your favorite edible flower? ๐บ๐น๐บ๐ธ

CREAMY COCONUT ๐ฅฅ PUMPKIN ๐SOUP! ๐
๐๐Fall is a great time to try this powerful, creamy and delicious Japanese (kabocha) pumpkin soup. Itโs so easy to make that it will keep you coming back for more! Bake a medium pumpkin in the oven for 30 minutes at 300 degrees until soft. Remove the skin and seeds. Combine the pumpkin chopped in cubes in a blender with 3 garlic cloves, veggie broth, 1/2 cup coconut milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, salt and pepper to taste. Pour the mixture in a pot and simmer for about 15 minutes. You can add more or less veggie broth for desired thickness. Top with coconut flakes, hempseed, tomatoes or toppings of your choice. Enjoy my favorite fall Japanese pumpkin soup. I hope it will quickly become one of you favorites! Whatโs your favorite soup?๐ฅฃ

Hi all! ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝI know I havenโt posted in a while, but Iโm back now with more colorful, informative content and will also be posting exciting announcements soon!
For now, Iโd like to share these easy, colorful, raw, vegan, purple cabbage rolls with you. I chopped red onions, mushrooms ๐ , walnuts and ๐ฅ carrots in food processor for the filling. Lined the cabbage shell with hummus and added cucumbers, ๐ฅred, yellow and orange bell peppers. You can roll the cabbage or eat it like a taco. I drizzled them with a tahini paprika sauce before rolling. You can add avocado ๐ฅ and or vegan cheese ๐ง if you like. Even though this is a raw veggie dish, it is very filling. It contains healthy fats from the walnuts and the tahini sauce, fiber and a ton of vitamins from your colorful veggies. Purple cabbage is a good source of Vitamins A, C, K and B6. So, for added health benefits, always eat the rainbow! ๐Whatโs your favorite colorful dish? Share in the comments below!๐โฌ๏ธโฌ๏ธโฌ๏ธ

If you havenโt guessed, Iโm obsessed with natural colorful Food! ๐๐Color in food is an easy way of getting a good amount of nutrients at one time. Thatโs why I am a natural Colorful Food Girl! Iโve developed this OMG deliciously flavorful pasta dish made from purple sweet potato glass noodles. I bought these noodles at a Korean super grocery store here in Chicago. I added purple cabbage, red and yellow peppers, baby organic kale along with sweet basil, and Italian oregano. ( I grow these beautiful greens and herbs ๐ฟ in my small space balcony garden!)
For extra protein I added spicy plant based Italian sausage. Itโs made from pea protein and added a flavorful kick to the dish.
I mixed the noodles and veggies with a creamy sauce made with garlic, red onions, avocados ๐ฅ, walnuts, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon ๐ juice and a touch of neem honey. This dish is nutrient dense, extremely satisfying with plant protein and healthy fats.
Let me know if you guys like this dish, because Iโm putting together a the recipes you love the the best and will be making it available to my beautiful followers! ๐โค๏ธ
