This concept was created in a moment of personal transition

An ornamental study on transformation, unfolding, and the person we become after everything changes.

I’ve always believed some tattoos carry their person toward them slowly.

Not to be rushed
—
only recognized.

It is not about arriving.
It is about remaining open—
allowing who you are
to be in constant relation with what unfolds.

A form that is never final,
yet always true in the moment it exists.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how a piece arrives —

not all at once, but in fragments,

in gestures, in quiet knowing

the work I’m most interested in right now
asks for that kind of attention

ornamental, handpoked,

created in conversation with the body over time

This piece was hand poked during my time in Chicago — created in between cities, in between versions of self. There’s something about traveling that softens the edges… makes space for transformation to come through more honestly, more intuitively.

Each design I create on the road carries the energy of where I am, but also where I’m going. The people I meet, the conversations shared, the quiet moments in unfamiliar places — it all becomes part of the work.

This sun feels like a reminder:
that even in transition, there is warmth
that even in the unknown, there is light
that movement itself can be a form of becoming

As I continue into this next series of travels, I’m opening space for pieces that hold this same energy — intentional, intuitive, and deeply personal.
