Massage Therapist Hello! My name is Lelainia Brochu. I am a Certified Massage Therapist (#88839), Reiki Practitioner, and Health Educator.
I graduated from National Holistic Institute College of Massage Therapy in Sacramento, CA, in January 2022 with Honors, was awarded the acknowledgment of Outstanding Professionalism, and was trained in a variety of Western and Eastern modalities in the 800-hour Core Program. My own journey with chronic pain has given me a deep personal understanding of what it means to balance daily life with step
s in self-care to feel your best. I am well-trained in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu, Myofascial Therapy, PNF (specified stretches), Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone, Cupping Therapy, and Trigger Point therapy. I integrate my understanding of anatomy with intuition throughout each personalized session, and aim to promote an increased sense of well-being while addressing the sources of pain and discomfort with focused intention for deeper healing. Ten years of experience as a private caregiver for the elderly contributes to my understanding of the importance of a specialized individual approach, as reflected in my motto: Adapting To Your Needs. No matter what your story is, in this human experience our bodies all have built up tensions from a variety of causes that can hinder feeling our best selves. I aim to create a relaxed and professional environment with each appointment focused on your short-term or long-term goals. I use the foundation of my education and training, communication with each client, and my intuition to create specialized sessions. For those that wish to further their wellness routines outside of our sessions, I do my best to lend self-care ideas that can be done at home that are specific for areas that we work on, and to support the quality of life in your body that you are seeking. I also offer energy work sessions based on my training as a Level II Usui Holy Fire Reiki Practitioner, as a separate session or infused into massage sessions. Reiki is for anyone interested in experiencing relaxation and relief that comes from setting intentions, feeling them transform, releasing energies and stories that get stored in our bodies that can affect us on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. The intention can be for past, present, or future areas of attention. It is also a space to welcome what we would like to see more of in our lives.
