Re-did my art wall, need to finish framing some art pieces but I like how it looks

Finding that haircut and color that speaks your inner soul language is a beautiful thing. Today was one of those days, where I had the pleasure of bringing the inner spirit to the surface and make someone feel their best. I love my job and my clients. Thank you for trusting me w your hair today.

When it's been a year since your last color and haircut, it's a big change up time. When your work requires natural looking haircolor, but you want fun hair. Adding in a pop of red highlights, gives us the fun we want but stays within permitted guidelines.

Changing it up and bringing more color pop in the underneath colors. Remembering to do the before and after, ✔️

Did a refresh on this fabulous human today, love seeing the colors pop and how cool they look in a braid, which then prompted a new painting "Sail into the Moon Rising"
The ocean & I have a long love affair, along w mermaids, which this wonderful humans hair reminds me of both.

Transformations can be subtle, bringing up the length and then doing a demi permanent color close to your natural haircolor. This means the outgrowth will be subtle and no longer if demarcation. Which means you can go 8wks to 6mos between colors.

Went from bright pink to a deep ash, instead of stripping the color out, we neutralized the pink by filling the color w a golden color, then depositing ash, finally filled in, the last deposit gave us the desired color, plus because we used a demi permanent color, her hair is healthy. When you've decided that hanging on to that old blonde and dry ends, needs to stop, taking the length up, adding in some layering and framing happens. Transformations don't always involve color but getting rid of it.

Got to do a halo effect w this pop of red, the color really pops next to the dark brown color. Taking off some length and adding in some butterfly bangs, really changing up her look.
