this girl right here, , is my soul sister. she drove 4 HOURS to come see me 😭 we went from being college classmates, to best friends, to roommates, to sisters for life! we have been through it ALL together. my lowest lows and highest highs have been experienced with this beautiful human right here and i wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
when we both made the decision to move across the state from each other, it was bittersweet. we knew it was the right choice, but not being conjoined at the hip anymore was sad. soon after moving, big changes started happening for the both of us! i decided to switch careers and go to hair school and Pres was blessed with a beautiful baby boy 🥹 (Love you Nolan💖) I was so sad i didn't get to be there to watch her become the best mom in the world but FaceTime kept me up to date! around the same time she became a new mother, we got some tough news. Presley's dad got sick and passed away. this was a really really hard time and i needed to be there for her and her family. the distance made things harder, but the love and healing energy could be felt from miles away!!
the reason i'm sharing this story with you guys (with her permission of course) is because i want to point out how big changes and stress can effect the hair. Presley had a lot of hair loss and thinning after she had those experiences. when she sent me the videos, i was shocked because her hair has always been so thick and long!
postpartum hair loss is real. hair loss from extreme stress is real. hair loss from new medications is real. and it is NOT something to be ashamed of, but i do know that this can take a toll on one's confidence.
more recently my girl GOT ENGAGED!!!!! 💍 so she wanted to get that thick hair back!
the look on her face when we were finished installing these extensions was something i will never forget! after everything life's thrown at her, this woman is still standing strong. she is a true BADASS.... with AMAZING HAIR 💟 i love you Pres!!!!!!
