1. Excessive heat• over using your heating tools such as your blow dryer or flat iron and using them multiple times a week would contribute to excessive heat.

2. Heating tool temperature setting• if you are flat ironing your hair on 450 degrees chances are you’re breaking down the integrity of the hair shaft which causes hair to be dry, brittle & porous.

3. Misuse of chemicals• relaxing and/or coloring your hair to often leads to dryness & shedding. Be mindful on processing time when doing these services.
