I always feel so inspired by the Pantone color of the year! Did you know this year the color is called Very Peri? Definitely one of my favorite colors. And fun fact about this photo, we started with green and had to get it all out for this beautiful color 😱

Have you ever tried a deep conditioning treatment? I don’t know if you knew this, but it hardly takes any extra time and can create a BIG impact! A conditioning treatment will add moisture to dry hair, help fight frizz, make your hair easier to style, and some even have nourishing antioxidants. “Are you willing to put in the work?”
I have to ask my clients this question whenever they’re thinking about making dramatic changes to their hair color. Whether going lighter or darker than their natural hair, there is maintenance involved in making the switch.
If you’re going lighter, are you willing to invest in the maintenance appointments and take home products to keep the unwanted tones between lightening services?
If you’re going darker, are you willing to come in more frequently to cover your regrowth? I think it’s so important to rock the hair that makes us feel more ourselves and confident! But it’s also important to think about the commitment to our hair color so that we can have hair that rocks all the time!

“I just need a trim today, not a full haircut.”
I have heard this a lot as a hairstylist and have also been asked what the price difference is between a haircut and a trim. My answer is:
They are the same price.
I know you might be wondering, “Why are you charging the same for a trim?”
When you tell me you want a trim, you are telling me you want the same haircut you had previously, only slightly shorter than it currently is, and to add shape and texture that has been lost between haircuts.
As a stylist, we approach a trim with the same skills and time as a haircut. A trim also includes the same relaxing shampoo, condition, and finishing style. So in short, a trim is still considered a haircut and you’ll leave feeling fresh and pampered after both!
