We created this custom violet with a mix of tones for beautiful depth, plus a lighter piece in the front to softly brighten and frame the face. It’s fun and expressive, but still super wearable and paired with a fresh, easy haircut that moves effortlessly.

Soft fullness with feathered movement ✨
This install was designed specifically for very fine hair that wants more. More body, more shape, and more styling versatility but without looking heavy or overdone.

I used three rows of sew-in extensions for support and density through the interior, then added injected tape-in extensions along the front hairline to create a seamless, fuller frame and enhance her layered, feathered finish. Every placement was customized to allow natural movement and effortless styling while protecting the integrity of her fine hair.

The result is airy, layered volume that blends beautifully and feels like her own hair… just elevated.

She has very thick hair and came in carrying fear from past haircuts where she didn’t feel heard. Before we ever picked up the scissors, we talked about what she loves, what she never wants again, and how she wants to feel when she leaves the salon.

We walked through every step together. I cut off several inches to release weight, added long layers for movement, and shaped soft face framing that complements her natural texture instead of fighting it. The goal was control without heaviness and softness without losing length.

Finished with lived in curls and soft waves to show how her hair can move, breathe, and still feel full. Most importantly she left feeling confident, comfortable, and listened to.
