This color was inspired by one of my client’s greatest passions. She’s a wildlife photographer who loves traveling to Alaska to photograph coastal brown bears in their natural habitat.
We created a rich, dimensional balayage with soft sandy ribbons, warm earthy tones, and natural depth, capturing the beauty of the Alaskan coastline and the colors of her favorite animal.

✨ Balayage refresh ✨

One of the things I love most about my job is the amazing people who sit in my chair. This beautiful client is such a joy to have in the salon. She always brings the best energy and such a positive vibe every time she comes in.
Her full balayage from November grew out so softly and naturally, which is always the goal with a well-blended balayage. (Check out the last picture for her before) Today we refreshed the brightness and brought the dimension back to life while keeping that seamless, lived-in look.

Blonde + Toffee Brown color block magic on one of my besties ✨

We went with a blonde and toffee brown color block for a bold contrast that still feels soft and wearable. The placement lets the blonde pop while the rich toffee brown grounds everything and adds a little extra drama.

Finished it with a long layered cut and some flippy movement so the colors really show off with every turn.

✨When you already have gorgeous hair and add the perfect balayage…..and it still looks beautiful months later ✨

This client comes in about every 3 months for a mini balayage refresh. She has very thick hair, darker natural roots, and super fast growth, so my goal is always to create dimension that grows out seamlessly without harsh lines.

To achieve that I combine a few techniques:

• Fine babylights through the top and hairline to softly blend her natural root
• Hand-painted balayage ribbons throughout the rest of the hair for brightness and movement
• Strategic depth pieces behind those blonde ribbons so the dimension really pops

Sometimes we finish with a soft root melt, and sometimes we keep her natural root depending on how her color has grown out.

About every 3rd–4th visit we do a full balayage to rebalance everything, while the mini balayage appointments keep her blonde bright and blended in between.

The goal is always healthy, dimensional blonde that grows out beautifully.

✨ It’s that time of year again… time to unplug, unwind, and recharge in nature. ✨
